HOW TO MAKE BOOTABLE PEN DRIVE FOR WINDOWS 7

THE FIRST THING YOU HAVE TO CHECK THAT YOUR COMPUTER SUPPORTS THE USB BOOTING! IF NOT THEN YOU WILL NOT ABLE TO INSTALL IT FROM USB PEN DRIVE & INSTALL WINDOWS 7!

THE SECOND THING, YOU JUST NEED A WINDOWS 7 INSTALLER DVD WITH A COMPUTER HAVING WINDOWS OS!

THE FOLLOWING STEPS SHOWS THAT THE TUTORIAL...

STEP 1:

OPEN COMMAND PROMPT(cmd)..PRESS WINDOWS BUTTON + R (IT WILL OPEN RUN IN POP-UP WINDOWS) AND TYPE "CMD" & PRESS OK! A BLACK WINDOWS WILL APPEAR WITH C:\users\YOURNAME. THEN TYPE " cd\ " THERE.& THIS SCREEN WILL APPEAR...

STEP 2:

TYPE "diskpart"

RUN DISK PART UTILITIES FROM THE COMMAND PROMPT. IT WILL OPEN A NEW POPUP WINDOWS i.e DISKPART LIKE THIS:

STEP 3:
INSERT YOUR PEN DRIVE IN ANY USB PORT & TYPE "list disk" IN DISKPART WINDOWS AS SHOWN!
IT WILL DETECT YOUR PEN DRIVE & SHOWS ALL THE STORAGE DEVICES AVAILABLE!
**NOTE:-1. YOUR PEN DRIVE MUST HAVE 4GB OR MORE THAN THAT!
2. THE NAME OF THE PEN DRIVE WILL NOT DISPLAY.. YOU WILL HAVE TO IDENTIFY IT BY SEEING ITS SIZE! IN THE SNAP THE DISK 2 IS OUR USB PEN DRIVE..IT MAY BE DISK 1 OR DISK 4 OR ANY OTHER FOR YOURS!

STEP 4:
TYPE "select disk 2" (IF YOUR PEN DRIVE IS DISK 2 AS IDENTIFIED BY ABOVE PROCEDURE)
& THEN TYPE "detail disk"
THE SELECT DISK WILL SELECT YOUR USB PEN DRIVE..! & DETAIL DISK WILL SHOW THE DETAIL OF YOUR PENDRIVE..!
**NOTE: CHECK WHETHER YOU CHOOSE YOUR EXACT PEN DRIVE BY SEEING "TYPE- REMOVABLE" & SIZE OF YOUR PEN DRIVE.

STEP 5:
NOW THE REAL THING BEGINS!
Type these commands as given and match with the pic given

clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format fs=fat32

**note:- dont make any change in any of the the command! JUST TYPE IT 1 BY 1!

NOW TAKE REST..IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO MAKE YOUR PEN DRIVE READY! ACTUALLY IT WILL FORMAT IT!

STEP- 6:
WHEN COMPLETED TYPE "assign"
and type "exit".

SEE THE WHOLE PROCESS IN 1 IMAGE! IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS!

STEP 7:

AFTER EXITING FROM HERE! INSERT YOUR WINDOWS 7 INSTALLATION DISK IN DVD DRIVER OR IF YOU HAVE .iso FILE OF THE WINDOWS MOUNT IT USING IMGBURN OR POWER ISO! NOW COPY ALL THE CONTENT OF THE DVD BY PRESSING CTRL+A (SELECT ALL) & COPY IT BY PRESSING CTRL+C(COPY).

NOW OPEN PEN DRIVE & PASTE IT BY PRESSING CTRL+V(PASTE)

WHEN THE COPY IS COMPLETED YOUR PEN DRIVE IS READY! REMOVE IT SAFELY! NOW ITS BOOTABLE PEN DRIVE!& FORMAT YOUR PC WITHIN 10 MINUTES! :)

Whenever we take a perfect picture with our digital camera it looks great but the size of the picture is too lrgae and some times we have to reduce the size before sharing it on Picasa or other service. But reducing the size also reduce the quality of the picture.
But there is an online tool which can help you to reduce your images without looding the quality of the image. This tool is JPEGmini which provide online optimiztion and claims to reduce size of the JPEG images by 5x without any loss in the quality or resolution of the photos. You can also use the tool without creating an account but creating an account is advisable.
You can also connect using your Facebook or Google accounts where JPEGmini will ask your email address in the permission window.
Create an account and then login into your account. You will see a big blue button which says to upload your photos. click on the button to upload photos. You will have to create an album for your photos. Each album that you upload can contain up to 1000 photos, and can be up to 200 MB in size. You may upload as many albums as you want.

Once the images are uploaded, JPEGmini process each which will yake some time. When the processing is complete, you will be notified with an email. It really works great. it also have an option to upload your images to Flickr and Picasa too.
NOTE: The album you have created will only be available for 7 days. So download your photos before the deletion.

How to Auto-Post Birthday Wishes on Facebook Walls of Friends

Do you forget to wish your friends on their birthday even on facebook? if the answer is yes, i have a perfect solution for you. There is a helper website BirthdayFB which automatically posts birthday wishes on the walls of your Facebook friends. How To Post A Blank Status Update Or Comment On Facebook

Posting a blank status update on Facebook is not a new trick. Many of you already know about this old trick. But still there are so many people who do not know this Facebook trick. Actually this is done with some special key combination. Type either “@[0:0: ]” or “alt+0173″ ( of numpad without qoutes ofcourse) to post a black status update of comment.

As you can see the snap, i have posted a blank staus update.
But I also found some interesting facts about this blank status and comment trick when i was playing this trick today. I was unable to add a blank comment on this update. Facebook was showing a error message, saying, "You must enter text before adding a comment."

It was strange for me because i had already added a blank comment with this trick.

Then i tried this trick on the posts on my friend's wall and got the same error message, saying, "You must enter text before adding a comment."
Then i again tried in on a Facebook page. i added a blank post with a blank comment without any kind of error as the error it was showing in my wall.

It shows that Facebook has tried to patch this trick to prevent blank comments but it forgot to patch it on Facebook pages.

Hide Facebook Timeline For All Profiles in Google Chrome

Facebook time line is the new Facebook profiles. But there are many people who do not like these profiles. There are many browser specific ways are available but those are not easy to apply.

Google Chrome has a nice and simple way to hide time line and get back to the old facebook profiles. You need to install a TimelineRemove extension in Google Chrome. It will restore classic look in your faceook profile without changing the timeline behavior for other visitors of your Facebook profile. It means other users will see timeline but for you, timeline does not exists on facebook for any user. This extension also allow users to switch between olde facebook profiles and timeline.

First of install the TimelineRemove extension in your Google Chrome browser. After the installation, it will automatically disable timeline feature on facebook.

It also adds a toogle button next to URL bar. With this button, you can switch between classic facebook profile and timeline. Click this button and the Status will be displayed in a pop-up. Click the TimeLine Remove option to enable or disable it.
This is really nice extension to change the facebook look to older profiles. And there is no issue with the exension. Install it and enjoy.

How to block a person on facebook chat

On Facebook, we have many users. Some are our real world friends but some are only our Facebook friends. On Facebook anyone can chat with use but we can not chat everyone. Sometimes we do not want to reply a person on the chat. In this case we want to be offline for that person.
I have already posted some methods to be offline only for some specific people. But this one is an easy trick and you can even be offline for any one in chat without creating a new group.
This is helpful when you do not want to chat with someone but want to chat with others.
Follow these simple steps to be offline for a person.

click on the person on chat bar and open the chat window.
See the three icons on the top of the chat windows. You will see a cam, gear and cross icon.
Click on the Gear icon to open the menu.
See the second option, "Go Offline to .........."
Click on this option.

If you want to be online to the person again, find the option to be online in the same way. Click on the gear icon again on the chat box and then click on click online to .......

How to report/block a person in facebook timeline profile

Block a person in facebook timeline profile

Few months back Facebook rolled out new timeline profile which will be the default profile of all users by the end of this month. Most of the users have already switched to this new timeline profile. But in this timeline profile, most of the people are not able to find out the option to report/block a profile. In older Facebook profiles, that option was available in the bottom-left side of the page in the left sidebar. But new timeline has no sidebar of this type. So many people have doubt whether Facebook has removed the option to block or report a profile.
The answer is simple. Facebook always cares about the privacy and security of the users. So it cannot remove the option to report/block a profile. But in new timeline this option is arranged in some other place. You only need to find it. If you do not know where to find this option, follow these steps.

Go to the profile, you want to report or block.

Find the gear icon just right of the message link. See the image.

Now click on this icon, you will see the option to report/block the profile.
Now select the options from the given list of option.
